The upcoming America’s Schooner Cup

event is not only a wonderful gathering of fine boats, but also a benefit for the Navy-Marine Relief Society.
We have been able to repair some stitching on our sail covers and make new spray cloths. Thanks to Paul Mitchell for bringing his machine out of storage for us. Also, Chuck Skewes of Ullman Sails helped us over a big challenge of “laminating” our trys’l with the high visibility cloth necessary for off-shore racing.
We had a wonderful turn out for both the slide show and open house and are enjoying sailing around San Diego Bay with old and new friends.
