| Martha launches on Thursday the 15th. The weather moderated and allowed us to finish he hull painting on the 12th, the bottom paint went on the 13th and 14th. The Port Townsend Boat Haven yard crew worked their magic and launched Martha in the afternoon. We want to give a big THANK YOU to the very professional yard staff in Boat Haven. We can always rely on their ability to take care of business. Saturday we had some of our youth crew India, Julian, Ann, Chloe, and Paul working to clean the last bit of dust and dirt left from the haul out. After lunch we set the freshly varnished bow sprit and tuned the rig. Again we wish to thank those who helped with the spring fit out, with out the community support Martha and her programs would not be possible. We plan to head for Tacoma on Thursday, we hope to see you there! Robert |
