Last weekend was paint time with 3 coats of System 3 Pennant Primer, followed by 3 coats of Marshall’s Cove enamel. A big thank you to Marshall’s Cove for their support and high quality.
The Bronze hardware (Port Townsend Foundry) is being installed and we hope to move outside this next week.
We want to give Pete and Cathy Langley a big thank you for their ongoing support of MARTHA’s Sail Training Program. The Hardware is brilliant and will serve MARTHA well for the next 200 years or so.
Doug Jones of Traditional Boat Works has done a spectacular job of bringing Craig Johnsen’s Main Mast design into creation. In 2012 Craig stated after 100 years MARTHA reaches her zenith, well, I now think that with this new main mast MARTHA will have reached her zenith at 115 years!
