Santa Barbara, Channel Island to San Diego

MARTHA is tucked snuggly in at the San Diego Yacht Club after a wonderful adventure to Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, and Catalina Islands.  It was a trip of full days of sailing, hiking, snorkeling and even a night sail.   It was a pleasure introducing MARTHA to new friends and re-newing relationships with past sailors who have come back to be a part of the crew.

We can’t say enough about how much we have enjoyed sailing in and amongst the  rugged Channel Islands.  Leaving Santa Barbara last Tuesday we had some of our finest sailing of the trip. Working our way to Santa Rosa reefed down, and again from Becher’s Bay, Santa Rosa to Santa Cruz, off the wind with just stay sails.  Check out the video shorts posted on Face Book.

Now we are preparing for the Yesteryear Regatta and our bash to San Francisco for Master Mariners Regatta.
